Biography

Lena Oehmsen is a multi­disciplinary artist based in Berlin, Germany working in photo­gra­phy, instal­­lation and per­for­mance.

Her work has been shown in Toronto and across Germany inclu­ding exhi­bitions in Lausanne, Ham­burg, Berlin, Cologne, Karls­­ruhe, Stutt­­gart and Dussel­dorf. Recent exhi­bitions include Musée de l'Elysée, Kunst­­halle Wil­helm­s­haven, Stadt­­galerie Kiel and Bremer Kunst­frühling.

She has received multiple awards for her work including the Art­grant Junior Prize. Oehm­sen holds a BFA from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Toronto, Canada.
