RGB (Street View)

»RGB (Street View)« trans­forms a cell­phone photo into columns of figures. The figures describe the color values (R=Red, G=Green, B=Blue) of the dis­played 70‘070 pixels. They create a kind of digital negative that empha­sizes the formal structure of the image. The digital tech­nical reality overlies the ana­logue image reality. Even though the picture is reduced to its basic infor­mation content the human eye is still capable of re­con­struc­ting the original picture.
